Abstract is an original oil painting on canvas by London artist Ryan Louder — a contemporary abstract composition built from layered tone and texture, where dynamic brushwork creates spatial depth and rhythmic movement across the surface. A statement piece for modern interiors, equally at home above a sofa, in a hallway or on an office wall.
Ryan paints without preliminary sketches. Diagnosed with narcolepsy with REM intrusion hallucinations at Guy's Hospital London, his paintings document direct visual phenomena and boundary dissolution emerging straight onto the canvas.
