Original expressive landscape oil painting on canvas by London artist Ryan Louder, painted in 2024. A contemplative solitary figure stands before a vast, luminous sky breaking open with intense radiant light bursting through atmospheric cloud formations.
Rich impasto textures in warm ochres, coral, and glowing golds animate the sky and ground, while the figure's silhouette subtly merges into the textured foreground terrain. Painted spontaneously without preliminary sketches, capturing the raw visual clarity of an unmediated waking dream state.
Ryan Louder was diagnosed with narcolepsy and REM intrusion hallucinations at Guy's Hospital in London. His paintings document these hypnagogic visual experiences directly onto the canvas with immediacy and painterly intensity.
Original oil painting on canvas, 60 x 45 cm (approximately 24 x 18 inches). One of one original artwork, signed by the artist. Carefully packaged and shipped fully insured with worldwide tracking from his London studio.
