Colourful summer cottage painting, 40 x 51 cm, painted in 2022, with the paint laid on so thick it stands off the wall.
I painted this thick and it jumps out at you in a three dimensional way I only get when the paint goes on heavy. The cottage, the garden and the summer light are all built in ridges you can catch with your eye from the side.
It comes on art paper mounted on foamex support board, so you have options. Picture hook, frame, or my favourite: two strips of velcro tape on the back and two on the wall, and it sits dead flat with no frame shadow. I send the velcro with the painting and let you decide. Simple, and I am surprised more people don't do it.
