Covent Garden Book Shop is an original oil painting on canvas, 40 x 40 cm, by London artist Ryan Louder, painted in 2022.
A London book shop reduced to stone and glass and shelves, the colours muted to the city's own greys, one warm corner of light at the top left where the day gets in. Quiet edges, a dark base to the composition, the kind of street scene that asks you to stand still in it.
My work is shaped by narcolepsy with REM intrusion, diagnosed at Guy's Hospital in London: dream-like visions appear while I am awake and end up in the paintings.
Painted on loose canvas and comes rolled, ready to be framed. Carefully packaged and dispatched with a tracked courier. Any questions, just ask.
